Binding registration must be arrived in written form at least 10 days before the scheduled date. Cancelation less than 10 working days before scheduled date are subject to 75% late fee. Abstract
The OPC background seminare gives an overview on the complete range of COM/DCOM based OPC Interfaces. Starting from OPC Data Access crossing Alarms&Events and Historical Data Access and finally the web service OPC XML DA all features are explained and pros and cons are discussed. The basics of the Microsoft COM technology and the DCOM Security are covered leading to Custom- and Automation Interface of OPC Server and Clients. The Seminar imparts the paticipants knowledge on background to understand OPC products and their capabilities. Configuration and the diagnosis of failures with different OPC products in various scenarios leads to confident operation of your OPC solution.

2. OPC Client and Server - Programing
Abstract
Knowing the basics of Microsoft COM technology specially for OPC Data Access a Client application is developed. Using this example the tricks are shown to program effective OPC applications. Especially for the devlopment of OPC Servers the internal use of different Threadding-Models with their pros and cons are covered. Additionally light is shed on function timeouts, locking and function interruption.
