Logo Program

In the course of the new enhanced certification new logos were created. It is now possible to differentiate between "Self-Tested" (according to the former "Compliance-Tested" logo) and the laboratory "Certified". For the end user this provides the ability to see just from the logo which level of certification an OPC product reached accordingly. In addition to the former procedure now a self test and a certification of OPC Client products is possible.

A Client qualifies for a "Self-Tested" logo when the OPC Analyzer test was passed. This can be done during an IOP Workshop or even in a web meeting session remotely.

A Server must, as in former times, pass the CTT and must participate in an IOP Workshop to get the "Self-Tested" logo.

The qualification for a "Certified" logo for clients and servers is only possible if they pass the certification test in an independent OPC Certification Laboratory; this shows the highest possible level of OPC certification.
